11 ALIVE ATLANTA
Hurricane Creek K9 was recently featured on 11Alive for its inspiring work with shelter dogs that otherwise might have been euthanized. Instead of letting these dogs remain at risk, Hurricane Creek K9 identifies promising candidates and works to train them for careers as working K-9s. Through dedicated training and rehabilitation, shelter dogs are given a second chance at life and purpose—serving in roles such as police K-9s, detection dogs, and other working positions that benefit communities and public safety. The feature highlights the organization’s mission to turn overlooked dogs into capable, mission-ready partners rather than letting them be lost to the shelter system. READ MORE
